This Privacy Policy explains how DevsReview ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects your personal information when you use https://devsreviews.com (the "Service").

1. Information we collect

Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, profile picture and a provider account ID.
Content you provide. Comments (including the email address you enter), article submissions, reactions and star ratings.
Technical data. A session cookie that keeps you signed in, your IP address, and data processed by Cloudflare Turnstile to protect the Service from spam and abuse.

2. How we use your information

To operate the Service, authenticate you and display your content;
To moderate content and prevent spam, fraud and abuse;
To communicate with you, including service emails and our newsletter / product and marketing emails (see section 3).

3. Email and marketing

When you create an account, you are subscribed to the DevsReview newsletter, and we may send you product updates and marketing emails about DevsReview and related products by default.

You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any marketing email or from your account settings. Service-related messages (for example security, account or legal notices) are necessary to provide the Service and cannot be opted out of while you hold an account.

4. Cookies

We use a strictly necessary, HTTP-only session cookie to keep you signed in, and Cloudflare Turnstile for bot protection. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

5. Service providers

We rely on the following processors, who may process your data on our behalf:

Cloudflare - hosting, database (D1), file storage (R2) and bot protection (Turnstile);
Google - authentication (Sign in with Google).

6. Data retention

We keep your account and content for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time (see section 8).

7. International transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location (including under the GDPR and CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or withdraw consent for marketing. To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected].

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
